The First Coffee

We’d been chatting since we first got talking at the gym, and finally we picked a little coffee shop on the south side of Joburg called Just Darling for our very first date.

We said we’d grab a quick coffee. Hours later the cups were cold and we were still talking, neither of us in any hurry to leave.

I remember thinking, very clearly: I do not want this to end. So I ordered another coffee I didn’t need, just to buy a little more time.

It worked. It’s still working. ♥
